From the top of the Törbeltal lift (2,550 m), snow sports enthusiasts can enjoy the full vertical range of the Moosalp ski area in one glorious, extended run of more than 5 kilometres, all the way down to Bürchen. The descent is full of variety – and demanding, too, with a vertical drop of about 1,000 metres.

In the ski resort of Moosalpregion, keen skiers and snowboarders will find many slopes on varied terrain. The ski resort offers an incredible range for winter sports enthusiasts, both young and old. Ski tourers can explore the area with Augstbordhorn and Dreizehntenhorn on easy to medium routes. Experience the fascination of husky sledding in Valais. Get to know the huskies and learn a lot about the Siberian Husky e.g. on a 2 km trail on the Simplon Pass, a 3 km trail in Oberwald in Goms or enjoy a 1.6 km husky passenger tour on the breathtaking Moosalpe. In the Saas Valley, an idyllic evening loop in Zermeiggern along the picturesque Vispa is on the agenda, or choose between an exciting 2 km tour or a lively 600-meter round trip on the ski lift. Immerse yourself in adventure and experience the unique connection between man and animal.

In summer the area of Moosalp offers you an extensive network of hiking paths. Especially popular is the "Stand" viewpoint, which offers an outstanding view of the surrounding Valais and Bernese 4000-metre peaks. Picturesquely nestled below the "Stand" lies the Bonigersee. The tarn is covered by thick mossy areas and is a nature reserve, but a hiking trail leads most of the way around it. The protected region covers an area of 1.5 square kilometres with 11 different types of moor land, including high and flat moors, some of which are national natural preservation sites.

What makes the Valais so special for cyclists is the possibility of climbing legendary passes of over 2000 metres in altitude. Reserved exclusively for soft mobility, these giants of the Alps offer the best conditions for safe ascents. 
 

This cycling charity race wants to establish ties between sports and cancer sufferers and their families. The ascent to the Moosalp for the cyclists can be compared with the challenge that cancer sufferers have to cope with in their situation. To achieve a common aim by supporting each other is what the event is commited to. The donations are completely accorded to the « Bärgüf » society.
