Starting at the top of the Arpalle 2 draglift (2,200 m), the freeride itinerary Les Luis leads down a small valley that faces north and is sheltered from the wind, promising some of the best snow. The most popular route is the one to the right, looking down. The panoramic views are spectacular, taking in the Mont Dolent (3,820m) and the Tour Noir (3,835m). A variant of this itinerary cuts into the forest before rejoining the main route to reach the shallow slopes of the blue Petite Combe piste.

Located in Val Ferret at 1,800 metres in altitude, the Ars alpine pasture is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It can be accessed by a tarmacked road and is the starting point of several hiking trails. Throughout the summer, you can see up to a hundred cows grazing in the pasture. Their milk is used to make authentic products such as cheese, butter, sérac, yoghurt, and fondue mixtures, which are also available to buy. You can also try these delicacies at the snack bar.

La Petite Combe at La Fouly is a little paradise for learning to ski with his carpet of 45m and the 500m ski lift. Free parking and a lovely terrace restaurant are available at the bottom of the slopes. Enjoy the magnificent panorama facing the Dolent. For older children, the chairlift offers varied slopes and even beautiful freeride areas.

Restaurant with a panoramic terrace and bountiful cuisine: grilled aged Herens beef in summer, lamb, Valais oven-baked cheese “Croûtes”, and fondues that have won awards at the World Fondue Championships.

Organised since 2009 in the canton of Valais, the Trail Verbier St Bernard by UTMB was the first ultra-trail in Switzerland, before joining the world circuit of the UTMB World Series in 2022. The longest distance, 140 km, offers a loop from the resort of Verbier to the Grand Saint-Bernard Pass crossing the valleys of Bagnes, Entremont and Ferret. The other itineraries include a 76 km option starting from La Fouly, a 42 km marathon starting above Bruson and a 26km loop around Verbier.
