Blausee
The view from the Blausee to the nearby Valais four-thousand-metre peaks (Weisshorn, Matterhorn and Dom) is breathtaking! Lake Blausee lies at 2207m and its water can heat up to 20 degrees during the summer. Access to the lake is easy and visitors will find fire pits for grilling. Access from Riederalp by the Riederalp-Moosfluh cableway. (leave the cabine at the intermediate station)
