The Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn) is 144 km long and leads from Zermatt to Disentis and from Andermatt to Göschenen. It covers a difference in altitude of 3300m, passing through 33 tunnels and galleries and crossing 126 bridges and viaducts en route. The lowest point of the journey is Visp, at 625m, and the highest is the Oberalppass at 2033m.

The «Adventure Card» offers exciting excursions in the Upper Valais, in Disentis-Sedrun, in the Andermatt holiday region and in the Bernese Oberland. The 2-, 3- or 5-day pass is valid between Spiez, Interlaken, Montana, Leukerbad, Zermatt, Saas-Fee, Brig, Domodossola, Andermatt, Disentis and Chur. The days are freely selectable within a one-month period.
