Gilihüsine
On a sunny Sunday afternoon, the sports enthusiasts from Bettmeralp used to climb up the green slope to the lake known as Bettmersee. Here on the gently rising terrain below the lake, they used to play the game of “Gilihüsine“ with great enthusiasm and dedication. This is a traditional form of the Swiss sport of Hornussen, a cross between baseball and golf. It doesn't matter how old you are or whether you are an experienced player or just a beginner, everyone is invited to watch this long-established game, try it out or even bring a team to participate.
