The Marmot Trail starts at the top station of the Schönbiel cable car. Before you set out, use the panoramic telescope to scan the surrounding alpine meadows. You may get lucky and observe entire marmot families outside their burrows. Once you start moving, the signposts along the way will tell you more about the life of these endearing creatures. The journey ends at lovely Bettmer Lake.
